Andrew J. (Andy) Morrissey
joined the Zellmer Law Group as an associate attorney in 1995, prior
to forming Leland, Schultz & Morrissey. He received his
undergraduate degree from California State University, Chico where he
majored in communications, with an emphasis in journalism. He received
his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of
the Law and was admitted to the Bar in 1992.
Mr. Morrissey's legal career
started in San Francisco, where he was associated with the law firm of
Lynch, Loofbourrow, Gilardi and Grummer. He primarily practiced civil
litigation in state court.
Before graduating from law
school, Mr. Morrissey served as a judicial extern in San Francisco
Superior Court for the Honorable Ira A. Brown, Jr. This experience
assisted in Mr. Morrissey's knowledge of law and motion civil
procedure practices. He is well-versed in a variety of litigation
matters, including business and real estate, employment law and labor
law, and assists in the firm's transactional practice.
Mr. Morrissey chose to
return to Chico, after developing a fondness for the town and the
surrounding area while here as an undergraduate from 1983 to 1988. He
and his wife, Stacia, enjoy a number of outside activities, including
camping, hiking and water sports. They have two boys, Shayne and Jake. |
